Jeez you don't need to post this in every company section.
-
These are the 3 companies I'm interested in so yea I do.
-
ROFL! Get a lawn chair, a cooler of beer and sit at a truck stop! All kinds a trucks there with the company names. After seeing 10,000 Freightliners, 2,000 Volvos and the real trucks Petes and Kens, you'll know who drives what.
-
I know which companies have what trucks just trying to see a truck tour you know.
-
I know bud. I still go on youtube to see the inside of trucks I like. Volvos look so roomy inside. May not be a bad truck. Not sure about the Volvo engine though.
Swift has Volvos. Almost died when I looked inside. My god it was nice. -
LOL yea I'm sure so does ummm US Express that one of my top company choices.
-
i hope you are not deciding what company you are going to based on the kind of trucks they have
-
Most company's have a % of each type or two or three....and last I heard, Schneider was selling most of the Volvo's (parts are expensive, dealers don't stock enough parts, so there is huge waits to get parts..so the drivers wait--unpaid...and it takes extra hours to do many simple tasks on them due to the way they are assembled). ....go to many truck's for sale sites...and they have pics...and it is easy to tell which fleets the trucks have been in...heck, you can still see the "ghosts" of the names on some of the doors....
The Volvo is a nice truck....but if you do your research, you will see that other trucks have caught up to the comfort and quietness of them...or at least get close enough that companys willno longer pay the premium to buy Volvo's since there is no longer a shortage of experanced drivers (they have been given pay-cuts, and the company's would like it if they left in many cases!)....if you have been following the industry, the rise of the Volvo was called the rise of the yuppie rig....and was given to guys to keep them around. -
No not picking based on truck......... HUH its just a curious newbie thing I have just wanted to see the inside of one period.
