Hey we will be at Central the same time. Originally I was going to go on the 18th but I'm getting really itchy feet and I need to get out of here asapSo I'm calling the recruiter on Wed to get the ball rolling early so that I can get out of here. If you read through this thread as well as a couple of the other Central threads these guys all have really good info.

Ya that was the norm for me when I was OTR get a ld to WVC pick up at Hershey head to Stockton n I live like 3 miles from there. But these days it's back and forth.
On a lighter note clutch is slowly but surely going out on this 07 T2000. OTRM won't replace it. So I have to fandangle my DM into getting me a new truck next time I'm in WVC.
Keep it steady boys. I'm out!!!!!!! -
not ALL good... just truthful

Thankfully, we're fixed and home now. But it really sucked. 25 miles from the drop yard, 140 from home, and boom! Stuck on Highway 18 in the chain up zone for 4 hours until they could get the local to come get our trailer. Then, another hour and a half for them to get a tow truck out, and an hour and a half for him to hook us up, and tow us to Cummins.
Cummins was of course closed, since it was Sunday, so it was just a great end to the weekend. On the plus side, I got to see my cousin, who is awesome. Would have been better to be home a day earlier though. I kinda wanted a couple days at home without my grandmother. Oh well, Can't always get what I want. -
HEY!!!!!!!!!!! I passed u on the opposite side of the highway I've got the red 387 right. I was the white t2000 pullin a 545 trlr with the old style stripes. U didn't look to happy up there in the front seat. I had just finished unloading at the Safeway there in auburn.
Small world!!
I meant u've got the red 387 right?Last edited: Sep 21, 2010

Red International. But that was me in the front seat, reading my Nook, waiting for either the local to get the trailer, or the tow truck guy to show.
Man, turbos are expensive. I'm glad Central and the warrenty got the bill and not me. -
I am here, just hanging around off and on

Hey like Chromedome said it has been a little bit since we have worked at Central but if you new guys want to check out my profile there are pictures of all the trucks we drove over the years at Central and some of the terminal and surrounding mountains. Some of JCT too, but I am not big on recommending them! Central really went above and beyond to help my wife and I in some situations and that is the reason I usually recommend Central to you guys. Good luck!
