    Thanks,

I've decided to stick it out here in San Diego a while longer.
Been getting a lot of negative feedback on Memphis.

ok, first its against federal labor laws to say any more than the dates you worked at a company. when asked, the former can say, "not rehire-able", or "rehire-able after review", or "review required".

now, i got this website you can go to, and for a fee, they will "act" like a potential employer, making inquiries about you. if they catch a former employer saying anything disparaging about you, they will be reported and they will be your witnesses as well.

here is the site, read through it:

    http://www.badreferences.com/index.html

make 1000% sure that you read all the DAC pages from top to bottom. if there is a drug testing refusal, it'll be there.

on just about every application, they DO ASK if you have ever refused to take a test. your word is simply no good, they will not believe you.

i would take a gamble here.........if NO WHERE on the DAC does it say 'drug refusal"............all i can say is, "i know from that point, how i would fill out the applications".

if there is NO MENTION from any employer regarding drug/alcohol testing (look for it on the DAC), then the former employer did not report that to DAC.

now also, after a 7 year period, any information about you, from a former employer is prohibited from being disclosed under law. which "could be" why some employers you had, are not listed.

as for your last employer, if you can afford that fee from the site i gave you, go for it.

list ALL jobs you had for the past 10 years, no matter they are on DAC or not.

Alright, I need some help. I have almost 3 months over the road, but due to making some poor choices in my youth, I have been forced to work for a really bad company. I name, at least. I have been with them, for 6 weeks, and I get the miles, and .28 cpm. I started with a smaller company, fresh out of school, but I worked for the man for 6 weeks, and never got paid. Finally, I just got out. Tired of the lies. What I am asking is if there is anything I can do to get a different job. I have a family to support, and since I cannot take my truck home. I have to wait on a driver coming to Charlotte to pick me back up, and I have been here for 2 extra days, which cuts into my money. I just see this happening every time I try to come home. They will make it so difficult that way you will choose not to do it. I just want to work, and drive atleast 2600 to 3300 a week, and be home once a month for a reset. If anyone knows of a company that will give me a shot, I would be appreciative of the help. I have no felonies, my CDL class A, graduated from CDL school, passport, and have applied for my haz mat. I just want to find a company that will get me home once a month for a reset. I live in Charlotte, and if this area was not profitable for freight, then why would Schneider have a huge yard here? please help. email is LiLee420@aol.com

    Thank You ReRun!

If I find a job here within the next few weeks I will forgive and forget.
Now, I'm not trying to sound conceited, but a guy with my experience shouldn't be
having this much trouble finding work. If this persists, then I will defiantly use this service.

how far away are you from Concord, NC..........?? there are some places there, like Cardinal, and on the same road as Cardinal there are cigarette warehouses i used to make pick ups at.

in the concord area (i believe) there is Purdue chicken, and some some companies in that vicinity.

oh yeah, check around charlotte for Celadon. they were in a terminal building my former employer once had. i am sorry though, i don't know where exactly that would be.

your posting makes no sense, why did you even bother to respond, if you cannot help.........???
