I have been with Central for almost 3 months now. I have run hard and been run hard since day 1. I was on the road before from late 2003 to 2006 when my wife got sick and I came off the road. When I came back to driving had to go thru the Central Driving Acadamy as a refresher and been running hard since.

Ok, I will stick around and haunt the threads to help with general questions. I will just try and steer away from the ones that are company specific.

Hey Dark, my minor preventable that I had since I have been with Heartland was worse than that, and they kept me on after.
first time I have ever hit anything with a tractor lol. I still feel stupid about it. At least it was a one truck non-reportable accident though.
Still will be on my DAC whenever I change company's though.
Heck, I just found out recently that Central put a non-preventable on my DAC, was not there before. I was for hitting a deer. No damage at all, but since I told them about it they put it on me.

Good rule, I have heard of this rule, and will use it if the situation ever called for it. I have also never had to use it, but have heard the same...messenger is always the victom of the situation. Do the right thing, but use discression as it cacn and usually will bite you in the arce.

You may think no one is watching but these days their are eyes everywhere. Real and Robot. If you get caught leaving the scene of an accident in a commercial vehicle there are pretty hefty penalties. You've got away with it so far I wouldn't push your luck.

    Hello and Welcome,

what kind of heads ups were you looking for? Ideas on what to bring or what to expect at training, or a whole overall? Just ask and myself or some of the others will try our best to help you out.

very true, most states also have pavement sensors to monitor speeds, traffic flow, and temp and road freezing, etc. this is fed back to their computers so they can determine if roads need deicer, police monitoring speeding, etc.
