Your more then welcome to ask all the questions your heart desires. And perhaps I mis-understood your original post. After all, I'm not perfect... I'm just a truck driver.

I personally believe that an APU at this time should be the least of your worries. Sure, there are states that have idle laws. New Jersey, New York, California, Dallas, TX has their own laws, etc etc etc. But they are rarely enforced. At least from what I've seen! If I'm hot, I idle. If I'm cold, I idle. I have idled many times in those areas that have laws restricting it. Never been bothered in the several years I've been doing this. Sure, I hear about the laws being enforced. I guess the officers decide to go to sleep when I'm in the area, but I personally believe that the people telling the stories about the enforcment are doing just that.... Telling Stories!

Do a user search for a member called oldnewbiegonnabe. Follow his posts. He came here with millions of questions (<---- seriously)! And now he is a twuk dwiva!

And that would be a truckers story. It didn't happen! Like I said, don't believe everything you hear & only believe about 10% of what you see.
