Im leaving tomorrow a.m. for orientation in Conover N.C. Anyone have any last minute advice ? I'm a little apprehensive about how its going to work out but thats just me. I've read just about every W+S post and am going to take all that information with me. What area should be my main concern ? Thanks

Good luck guys, and keep us posted when you can.

Just listen and take notes. Don't worry about "war stories" etc. You'll soon see that every truck driver can drink more beer, haul more loads, get more women, stay awake longer than any other trucker!
American-Trucker Thanks this. -
That's the fact Jack!

Good luck! Listen and ask questions!
Remember the only dumb question is the one that is not asked and someone else probably wants to ask it anyways! -
Last minute advice...
Enjoy the long bus ride and eat plenty of vending machine burrito's. You'll have your own seat all to yourself.
The first couple weeks behind the wheel you'll sweat bullets. Stay calm, listen to the instructor and you'll do fine. It's nothing out of the ordinary. He teaches, you learn.
Have fun! It's a memorable experience.American-Trucker Thanks this. -
What instructor? lol at W/S we're only gonna get 10 days in orientation, then we go solo.....or where you talking about at orientation?
