It seems the 'shop' is a common problem area for JCT.:biggrin_25513:

Seems like it. Obviously to the point where it interfered with his earnings. Not good. Not good at all. I'd imagine with discounts at the shop, going outside of JCT for repairs would be cost prohibitive?

They are cheaper on most things. Just that they take too long repairing. As far as getting nto earning isn't the case cuz even if you go in negative in your escrow they just take 10 cents instead of 7 per miles.

I see. Makes sense. Might be worth it to go elsewhere then, considering how much downtime would cost.

Yes things like pm would be faster otr. More major problems o would rather have shop do it over dealer because most of the time Jct will give you a rental if available

the major problem i had was with my drive tires, they had cracks up to 1/4 inch in them and they would not let me get new tires at shop or anywhere else, as for the truck the fuel was killing us due to engine not being set right, an 09 cascadia should get at least 8 mpg, mine got 5 mpg.

Would'nt let you get new tires? :biggrin_25513:

You mean they wouldn't let you use the money held back (YOUR money) for new tires?

Don't know y they wouldn't let u get tires. Yea the trucks are geared to get best MPG around 60-65. Any faster is just burning your profit out of the pipes. Also I heard the dpf system on them are all screwed up on the freghtliners. Not even freightliner themselves can fix that problem. One of our o/o are going to Sue them.

another JCT driver was $147.00 in the minus on his maintenence accouant, and they put trailer tires on his drive axel. $68 cheaper than Bridgestone lug tires, ask him when you see him l1863d
