    I know, right? LOL The truck had a faulty air valve leak. Things should be good to go now but I will make darn sure the trailer is resting on the fifth wheel before going underneath it.

    They pay based on experience. Gypsy gets paid based on her experience rate and so does hubby based on his. From what it looks they pay everyone for putting in their miles and not just by splitting it in two. Gyspy if I am wrong, please correct me.

    Well Schneider takes the total miles the truck ran for the week and divides it into two and then calculates our pay on our individual pay rate. So like this week (it was a short week since we came home for H/T we ran 4237 so it would be 2118.5 x .39 for me then 2118.5 x .42 for hubby.

    Sitting in Laredo with the truck in the shop. Schneider put us up in a pretty nice motel. Rather be rolling but these things happen.

    LOL yes we got out Wednesday morning. Could have gone Tuesday afternoon but after being up half the day and Schneider paid for the motel til then we decided to take advantage of it. Still ended up with around 4900 miles for the week plus breakdown pay. This week as of Wednesday morning we will have 3980 so far.
