Having just a dish is not bad. Plus, you can start with this and if you hate it, simply upgrade to the vuqube antenna.
I purchased my system from the "the satellite man" just next to the chapel outside of the west Memphis pert. The system works well so I'm not upset with them at all. However the mounting hardwfare they chose turned out to be less than ideal, so now I recommend you purchase the wineguiduard satellite kit at pilot. The mounts work great and instead of just a piece of galvanized pipe, I have a sliding and locking pole meant for the purpose. The galvanized pipe and three clamps eventually broke, Before that, The dish would slip and turn on windy. Days.
I do recommend the sat beep satellite finder that they have at the satellite shop I mentioned before.
Aiming the dish is simple. First enter the zip code of your location into the satellite box. You'll get an azimuth and elevation. All you need to know is the elevation. Set the dish to that elevation using the scale on the side of the dish. (a 30 second process. The azimuth is always the same. Southwest ish. Know hook up the sat beep and turn the dish until you get the highest tone. Check your tv to be sure you have the right satellite and your ready to go.
The whole process takes me longer to write about than it takes to do.
If you'd like a little hand holding through the process, here's what I recommend. Buy the satellite pole and the mounting hardware at pilot. Then next time you're in west Memphis, have him install the rest of the stuff and they'll show you how to aim it.
If you and I happen to crows paths, I'd beglad to show you my system and give you ac quick lesson on aiming it. I could bet the vuquebe, but it would only save me five minutes efface time use it.

Guess I'm just a bit more lazy in my old age. I like the automatic ones. It finds the sattelite, locks it in and I don't have to worry. Just pop the popcorn. -
You can always beg and plead for a Kodak load out of Windsor, but those are hit and miss. Sometimes they're ready...other times it's a two day wait at Johnson's Corner. The dust in that parking lot plays hell on my sinuses lol.
And that's a BIG 10-4 on stopping at the Tomahawk. The big 3 truckstops in Denver / Commerce City are like outdoor circuses. -
Hello Everyone. I have one more day of trucking school until I take my skills test. After this I go for orientation with stevens october 10, so not that long from now. I was wondering does Stevens go through Mississippi very much? I have not read where any drivers are talking about going to the east very much. Just curious because this is where I live. Thanks for ya'lls help. Cannot wait to start orientation. Kind of nervous but excited at the same time.

The long hauls are often given to the training teams, allowing them to rack up the miles as they drive coast to coast. -
Great day today. I am dog tired so going to keep it short. Once again thanks for the support. I drove from Carlisle, PA to Rock City, CN and capped off the run with bumping the very easy dock at Burris Foods.
I kept control of my truck and basically put together a fine day by trainee standards. Weather was very sloppy and traffic was heavy most of the way.
Tomorrow I am in for a real treat. Asotoria NY. Yipee! -
