Thanks for the list, American-Trucker. If you don't mind, I'm going to post it to the main site and turn it into a pdf for easy printing. PM me and let me know if you want it credited to a name other than your forum handle.
If you have a similarly comprehensive list for post-trip inspection, I know plenty of people could make use of it.

not stumbling on a word.....stumble or forget to do the brake test in the CORRECT order..............
you are going home (in one state i deal with) or you are failing (in the other state, but continue to test on everything else........
since a student in Mass.........if YOU failed the brake test, OR ANY skills test in the DOT yard, you WILL NOT be going on the road...........can you as a Mass student say, "cha-ching"..........??? and if you are a NETTTS student, that's another $90.00.......!!!!!!
many of you living in the Fall River, Somerset, Seekonk, areas, would "must likely" be going to Dartmouth, across the street from the Barracks. trooper "Lavoie" would be your tester. cool guy..........but he doesn't anything get by him.........
one student went out the gate (Dartmouth), turned left, shifted over a R/R track nearby, Lavoie told him to pull over, both he and the student walked back the 100 yards or so to the yard............student went home, and has already heard the 'cha-ching" call...........typical NETTTS student. instructor had to walk to the truck, and drive it back to the school.
by the way.....M915A4.....i had to go back and read your BIO, i see where you first came here, you mentioned you already got your CDL, so the above info isn't going to be for you, but other Mass students......... -
Got ya,ya i ended up getting mine in Stoughton,we had a couple guys go to the cape and one to Dartmouth.Needless to say the DArtmouth guy had to go back a few times...lol
and Mass definatly cha chings the crap outta your pockets.i wasl lucky enough to pass everything easily but others not so lucky.i even took measure ments and set up a testing yard at work..lol -
YOU most like had (super trooper)Danny Eaton.........he also teaches by the way, heavy equipment, part time.......!!!!! and Danny, believe it or not, super trooper and all.......cuts guys slack...!!!!!!!!!
cape cod, would have been Bob Hadley (retired now). Dartmouth has Ed Lavoie (and occasionally he goes to cape cod), Everett has Sal Lamonica......but I think they closed Everett.
I hadn't ever been to Sturbridge though....... -
Did anyone notice 2 missing studs on the wheel lug nuts and he said "no lug nuts missing"?
-
Thanks for posting that!!American-Trucker Thanks this.
-
yes, and the student pointed that out by the way. he puts his finger in the hole and says, "lug missing".........
-
Whoops ! Thought he said "no lugs missing".
-
