and after you go threw orientation and find out that you could be being trained by someone who has only been on a truck for 6 months you might think twice.

Seriously though, what others have said is true. Training companies are what they are, a stepping stone to a career. Go in positive, work through the potential difficulties, get your 1 year plus in, and look for a better company if you don't like the one you chose. -
Trans-Am does a lot of meat loads, so you get a lot of time in at meat packing plants. Can you say "It stinks around here"? Pam is dry freight FYI. :smt079

ok so i decided to go with trans am.called pam trucking to cancel my app and my appointment,they rushed me off the phone and then called back to see if i was still coming.

They just want a body in the seat . That recruiter gets a bonus or smtg when u set foot in orientation
Stick with your decision. Tough it out you will have good days with the bad but in the end you will be happy
