As i am not a trucker, but a truckers friend, i would think that when you type out a message you could refrain from colorful adjectives. It certainly isn't needed nor is it appreciated. I'm sure Chris would feel the same, as he is not only a trucker but he is also a gentlemen.

Best fried chicken I ever had was at a roadside diner/ restaurant on 301 in FL just north of rte 10 in northern FL.

I can't remember the name of the place (small, white on the right hand side) 1950's genre all the way. Definite home cooking.

Don't forget about American Trucker's thread too here on W/S he just started training Monday good read so far! ( he saw Chris the other day but didn't go over to day hello....) I just checked out ORG's thread no posts since he finished training.... I am pretty sure he is just chilling and enjoying being with his family after 6 weeks!

 

Well I just spoke to Chris and he is in Ohio. He is hoping to be making his way back south to N.C. and then up north to N.J. After a month and a half of not seeing him, he will be a sight for sore eyes. We are hoping that this beautiful fall remains just that and he gets home before all the leaves change. And we are hoping for some riding weather. After driving that big truck, he is really looking forward to his harley. Or maybe it's just me on the back.

Unfortunately no computer yet. I believe the dt's have stopped for now. I will try to keep you all updated. Chris says thank you for keeping his thread going. And I say thanks Mike for letting him know I defended his honor.

I bet it is getting beautiful up there right now. That's probably the season I miss most when we were driving! That would be killer to have a bike up there right now! Actually down here in Fl we are getting ready for bike week. I think like the end of next week it starts. It just started cooling down into the low 90's and upper 80's. Low 70's at night so perfect bike weather! I am curious to see if Chris runs home and jumps on his bike to go driving around though. Some truckers try to avoid leaving the house at all costs when they are home. Anyway he's doing an awesome job. I don't think I have ever known anyone to pick-up driving like that so fast. Not just holding the wheel, I mean making miles and doing it correctly. Props to him!
