I think my DAC has died of 'old age'. Last time I drove for them, also last Real OTR was in Oct 92' Drove mostly 10 wheeelers at the RR, did some trailers spotting as well as other equpment from then until 2004 when I retired.

Man, reading this brought back some baddd memories.. I worked their, my first truck was #4804, it was a total p.o.s. The heater wouldn't work 99% of the time, then the opt-idle went out. I told my dispacther that i needed repairs.. He says no problem. I get sent to on a load from the yard in Sayerville, Nj to St. Cloud, Mn. Middle of January.

Got me a room at the super 8, told dm where i was gonna be. Next morning a tow truck had to be called to defrost my FLD block o ice (yes i had to pay). I am sent to Hormel in Austin, Mn to d-h on a load to Atlanta.. I bob tailed back to Chatt (they weren't happy with me on that), was told to seat another truck... Long story short, it was a p.o.s. to. I had it by this point and quit their in Chatt.

I had to pick #4804 at a truck stop by Toledo. The driver left it there, with the key on. It was a mess, smelled like S*** to.

I can't say anymore, cause if i do i will have nightmares the rest of the night.

Hey, sorry to hear about this. I know some companies show their standard by doing these deeds but you don't worry about it, talk to an attorney you will definitely get some good amount of money on being not paid and for harassing your wife. My sympathy is with you, working in a mortgage Chattanooga Company and these types of problems arise if you are corporate market.

Most good companies are in transition to E-logs. The ones that are not raises a huge red flag.
