I would go back maybe.
They have no fuel gauges in the trucks. You must stick the tank. You fill up at the yards, not on the road.
I did the Springfield to Chicago daily shuttle. I shared the truck with a chimney.
I developed breathing and health problems during this time. They had told me I shared with a non smoker. I spent 45 minutes each day trying to clean the air to breathe and wipe down the truck.
My clothes reaked and my hair even smelled. Took showers at night to get the smell off.
I stuck with it for 6 weeks, but could take it no more.

They did not do long hauls so to speak.
They did shuttle between locations.
Say,
Chicago to Springfield.
Springfield to St. Louis
St. Louis to Kansas City
Springfield to Quincy
Quincy to Kansas City
Kansas City to Dallas
The OTR guys had to buy showers due to the way the fueling was.wildbill123 Thanks this. -
No fuel gauge??? That's weird. That would be really handy come trade in time! <sarcasm>
I see their trucks all the time, never knew that about them.
-
The gauge is on the dash but is disconnected on many of the trucks.
-
So what is the reason for not having a fuel gauge?
Could they not save the cost of a functional gauge somewhere else? -
They replaced the tanks with larger tanks from older trucks. My guess is that they had cut the sensors on the older tanks and never went and hooked them up again.bulldozerbert Thanks this.

In TXit is yellow to the front and red to the rear and a yellow lens in the midddle of the reds on the rear will get you in trouble .
