Sodbuster and Topper031 I'm glad to hear that Smith is treating you so well. For the majority of the drivers at Smith you get crapped on dailey. Smith is not a good company. Their repair shop is poor. They sign work off that was never done to your
truck. ALL TRUCKS ARE GOVERENED AT 64 MPH. Talk to some of the mechanics. They
will tell you stories about some of the wonderful Smith trucks. Don't forget in November of this year DOT is going to start enforcing the Comprehensive Safety Analysis. Alot of states don't like those black semi's with those nice gold emblems on them. Hows Route 22 in the winter time, when you have blizzard like effect from all the blowing snow? Now Smith wont let you take the pike. Oh no, to much money.
The great state of Florida. What runs does Smith have going to Florida that gets you
home all the time? None when I was there. Have you been to Texas lately? Ya, they
say they go there but that run dried up. As far as the Greenbay Terminal, there isnt
one. Its an office building. Some drivers are dispatched out of there but it is not a terminal. Smith has three terminals, Roaring Springs, Pa., Atlanta,Ga.(they share with US Express),and Remington,In. It is possible that some drivers are getting consistent miles. One reason is probably because Smith can't keep any of the newer
drivers. The older trucks are in poor shape. All of them have 500,000 plus miles. you'll
spend more time in the shop then on the road. In Ohio I blew an injector. Dispatches
cure for that was to send me to Georgia with a 40,000 lbs load. By the time I got out
of that old truck the engine had almost been rebuilt. The only things that weren't
replaced was the block and the cam. My only point in writing all this is so other drivers take a real hard look at Smith before they apply there. How many negative
comments are there about Smith? How many positive remarks are there about Smith?
    You decide.

I just talked to a smith driver sat in scranton he said hes been there 2 years and was very happy with them. He said that they changed the nyc pay and the detention pay but he hasnt seen a drop in mile and they are pretty good at not running you back and forth into the same area and he gets home every weekend he wants to
