It's been a long time coming. The industry has never policed itself, it's has always looking the other way to get the money (load delivered).

We have brought this on ourselves as an industry. We the drivers are the one that run over hours, the companies would ask and beg, but we the drivers did it.

ha...i guess so. government only makes laws to protect everyone from people like me, not for financial gain. more kool-aid, sir?

 

and now the real reason people get pissed when i say this stuff...jealousy. difference between you and me is i don't care what you make or how you make it. from the numbers i see people brag about on here, i definetly can't hack it as a legally running otr driver. i'll do what i do till i can't then move on, and you guys can continue fighting for the scraps that fall on the floor.

 

Really? They read sites like this and then make laws to teach a lesson to the people that thumb their nose at them? They are as petty as some of the people on here! I never knew that....

And I here I thought all the wild-eyed, coffee-drunk outlaw truckers driving around slamming into school buses and fully-loaded vans of children after 30 straight hours of driving all the time gave them enough to go on to get this stuff passed. I had no idea an internet chat forum filled with a written out version of cb chatter held so much weight! So much for the argument that the laws are there for safety I guess.....
