How much do you experienced O/Os set aside each month for maintenance? 10% of gross? Next year I'll have saved enough to buy my own truck and am trying to get the best idea of what expenses O/Os set aside every month whether you use it or not.
Thanks for your help!

For me there is no such amount...Just save and save! If your truck goes down and you dont have enough money in your maint fund.. You going to have to get it from somewhere else. Maybe from your piggy bank fund lol

I put away .10cpm every week into my maintenance savings account, but that account gets robbed to pay other things sometimes so like rickybobby says save, save, save. Put what you can in the savings account out of each settlement and hopefully you keep it in their. Get on a budget.

I put away .25 per loaded mile for maintenance....I also consider the account to be at zero when it get down to $20,000 that way it always has a fairly decent amount of money in it.
