Tucson police officer critical after wreck

I hope they had witnesses or a camera, as it seems convenient that the officer had a "green light"....

Re-read the article. It said witnesses told authorities that the truck ran the red light.
And that little piggy also has a family, just like us....NOT cool.

 

man what in the #### is wrong with you? if something happened with to your family (god forbid) youd be squealing for that little piggy to come and help! come on man have a heart.

 

man i agree with you a 110% some people dont give a ####. its sad. hope that cop will make it ok.

 

I feel sorry for the officer, and hope he recovers.....nobody deserves that kind of pain and misery~

 

The disturbing part of this story is that is witnesses said it "appeared" that the truck ran the red light. Either he did or he didn't. But, as a result of witnesses saying it "appeared" to have happened, the driver was given a ticket for running a red light.

As much as some of the general public hates truck drivers, I sure hope this isn't a case of a couple people showing up at the accident and assuming what happened, leading to a driver getting into trouble he doesn't deserve to get into.
