For what it's worth, here is one more reply saying YES USXpress is team only. For me anyway. I have no experience other than the truck driving school I went to. According to the lady I have been speaking with on the phone -- and the paper work she sent me via email -- I will attend a three day orientation, then go out on the road with somebody. I had to sign a Student Driver Agreement to Team for a minimum of six months after upgrading to a first seat driver.

Hell people take some initiative I went through hell, 8 weeks of bs with my trainer followed by getting a crappy 2007 Volvo and running only northeast and getting no miles. I called and got on a no touch dedicated account, Quad Graphics, with less then 3 months experience. Now I run 3000 miles a week except when I do hometime which is every two weeks and I've gotten home a day early each time. I also got to bypass that crappy newbie sliding payscale I'm getting .36cpm and none of my runs have been less than 450 miles. I'm loving it even when I do my hometime my checks are over $700 after taxes. I wouldn't let myself fall into that group that sits around and b!+@hes about getting effed over and not getting miles. Oh yeah, on my 4 month anniversary of employment I landed myself a 2011 Cascadia, brand spanking new ten speed, new car smell, and I was out of my trainers truck for only a month. See its not all bad out there and I'm a perfect example of that and all it took was one fifteen minute phone call to the dedicated recruiter.
