I was at the Flying J in San Antonio,in June or July..This couple came in the laundry room just as I was putting my stuff in the dryer..He walked out and left her standing there.. She grabbed the dirty laundry bag, took out the dirty clothes and began to separate them on the table..and OMG! All i smelled was pure D ish.....It was 150% worse than a cattle hauler in front of you at 70mph..I would've hated to see the inside of that cab..YUCK..
The etiquettes are great! I was at the Petro in Ohio years ago..I-75 forget the exit #..anyhow,Myself and 2 driver were washing our hands..we heard the bowl flush, driver walks out of the stall and proceeds straight to the exit the restroom..we looked at him, then at each other and then looked at all the soap and water and said WTH! Even if i'm just stopping for a cup of coffee..it's straight to the restroom to wash my hands..

If they had trailers they would have parked all the way at the front in a non parking spot when there were still open spots in the back of the lot.
Hey Redd did you read this?
The Challenger, KE5WDP and Injun Thank this. -
Thou shalt not wear your #### stained sweatpants and flip flops outside of your truck!

.....it's one thing to strike up a friendly conversation, but to walk up to a mans wife, looking and smelling like you just came out of a trash dump.......
At that point i pretty much dont have any use for that person!!!! we all were raised with manors, and i truly beleive people have forgoten how to use them!!!!

The biggest problem with this thread is the fact that the worst offenders are not using this site or any other. They live in their own world, have never been told no, have never been taught manners or respect (self or for others). Most of the drivers on this forum respect each other and care about the image of trucking.
Panhandle flash, Jarhed1964, Raiderfanatic and 3 others Thank this. -
Perhaps if I feel so inclined, I just might print an edited version of the KJV 79 Commandments of Truckstop Ettiquette and hang them on the fuel pumps... Now I'll add my own: Thou shalt not drain thy lizard at the fuel island.GuysLady, Dave 1960, Texas-Nana and 4 others Thank this.

Sage advice...however, have you ever listened to male truckers on the CB when a woman comes over the air. I mean any female voice...craziness immediately sets in and these idiots start with the "where are you babydoll?"
Now you know that these low self esteem idiots would never have the nerve to approach a lady and say hello even, much less some of the things they say on the CB.GuysLady Thanks this. -
I've run across plenty of those. They usually shut up pretty fast when my husband answers them with, "She's right here in the truck with me. HER HUSBAND...".
