If you can get past that work well test you will be fine.
Just remember what I said, put all you have into it and you will do fine.
On the push and pull, all they care about is the max number it does not need to be sustained.
So push it hard and fast, use your body. Do the same on the pull.
The only other part anyone has issues with is the over the head thing. And if you put your mind to it you can do it.
I hope you and all the other lady's do well. -
CD I actually passed the work well I got every thing done. It was just funny when I have to do the 50 lbs over the head the first time I had to use my head to get it up on the shelf. From there I took it down and dropped to my knees to put it on the bottom shelf and used my legs to get it back up. My legs still hurt from that but I did it and I'm still here. YAY!!!!!

hey everyone i am suppose to start school with central on oct 18 but i was just wondering i have a lazy eye and wanted to know if i could still pass the vision test to get my cdl
-
Im not sure. Its pretty much the stand behind the line and read atleast line 8 on the sign like at a doctors office or DMV. They also do a peripheral check too. -
Well, my orientation is over and im suppose to leave out in about 3.5 hours with my trainer. He isnt here yet but should be soon. Im a little nervous. Guess the truck has a 13 speed. I never driven one of those. In fact I havent seen the inside of a truck for 2 weeks now. LOL. Like I said Im a little nervous. I know I can learn all this but its still wierd.

hey do you know if central does training in utah in the wintertime?? Just curious cause i wont be able to go there until probably december or do they send u to georgia or cali for training
-
From what I have seen and heard since I have been here unless they completely have no trainers they have a class that starts every single week. Also just ask a recruiter they will tell you straight up whats going on here.
-
They train year around at SLC.
Winter is a great time to learn. You will get use to the weather that you will have to run in.
They really do not deal well with service failures. And snow is not an excuse for a late load with Central.
That is one thing I like at my company. If it gets nasty they want you to stop. And if enough drivers say it is bad they will shut down every truck in that region till it gets better. They do not like us to run in bad snow.
The truck, load and you, are worth more than an ontime load.
The receiver wants that load in one piece. Not spread down a snow bank.
I wish more company's would realize this. -
