I was in high school when this one came out.

Thanks for the work you've done giving us a home.

 

When I first contemplated getting back into OTR after many years, I found this site, and found it to be a tremendous resource for information.

Unfortunately, my recent experience has paralleled WiseOne's. I can't believe that people can treat other people how I have been, but am not positive that they are really aware of the consequences of their actions - maybe I am being too kind - or very naive.

Thank you WiseOne, for your efforts behind this sight, and to all your "little helpers" in the work they do!

Thank you for the time and energy you put in to this site, WiseOne. You and the mods are such a wonderful group. I wish I had found this thread a long time ago. I should explore around here more. I hope this site is here well into the future.

 

Wise One, I just found your bio and I can't say how much I admire your determination.

Exposing the evils of corporate transportation and the role our government plays in allowing worker abuse to continue unabated, should be a fire in all our hearts.

Someone on this thread said they didn't think management really understood what they were doing to people: well, yes they do.

They can ship our manufacturing jobs to cheaper labour overseas, but it still has to be transported domestically, and that is where Shareholder's Rights and the US Government have conspired to drive labour costs to the lowest possible levels, with total disregard for the welfare of people.

In fact, they are now importing even cheaper labour to transport our freight. So, don't tell me they don't know. They know.

We appreciate what you have done. It gives us cyber-truckers a hangout and can share how it really is.
Truckers need a way to unite and the internet is one way of doing it. We just need more truckers with laptops. As time goes on the numbers will grow.
I wish I found this place earlier. I use to belong to another one that turned into a ghost town. It's still there and the only active members are foreign woman spamming for dates, lol.

I started a poker forum in 2004 and it climbed to 15,000 members and was a happening place. When the gov't put a 90% stop to internet gambling it went to pot. So I sold it to another guy three years ago that was networking poker forums.

I have never seen this thread before either which brings up a question...

I would love to see this thread as a sticky in the welcome wagon or somewhere that new and existing members can always see it and easily find it, is this possiable WiseOne?
