They run I-80 and I-70 allot. Drive on one of those just about any time of day and you will see a Central truck.
Perdiem is not optional. It will effect your gross earnings number by lowering it.
It will not be so much as what you are saying though. Mine when I was with Central only made it so my gross and my net were the same. .08 is not too high and they have not changed it since the perdiem rate has gone up the past 2 times.
So if you are a home owner you will still get a half way decent deduction at the end of the year from what they do not cover.
As for owner OP's. I do not know how many are left.
They use to have a good number of them that had bought the old Simon trucks, but most of those must be gone by now. I know they were not hiring on outside owner OP's for a while, but they may be doing so again now.
There pay is rather low though. So if I owned a truck it is not a place I would bring it, when you can get the same miles and .10 cpm more somewhere else, and get your fsc on all miles loaded and empty. -
There are a couple Owner Op's out here in SLC...... We asked the Lease Op department if we could buy a truck and bring it they said yes but (Like any company that leases) They prefer that you Lease

yeah thats what happens when you get dispatched southeast!

btw... forgot to mention for the other lease ops.. (what's left of them anyway) Walmart has Rotella T oil on sale for $11/gal. $5 cheaper than central AND the truck stops. They also have rain-x brand windshield wiper fluid for 2.99/gal. Far better than the truck stop fluids!

If the old Simon trucks are the black ones there were about 4 or 5 of them in Conley while I was there.
-
Lol probably but most of them were waiting on repairs. There was a driver there that had been there for a week. His egr tube was blowing coolant through the exhaust or something and his turbo went out. They got him another truck and that needed repairs too. I think when I was leaving they finally got him a working truck. -
Here's a picture of the Simon trucks.

Hey Trip. I told him what date I wanted to start. I had a few things going on in the end of Oct that I couldn't miss. My Contact mentioned Sacramento to me. So since I live here in this area I agreed to go here. I hope nothing changes!

How long ago was the WC claim. Why would she hold that over your head. It seems to me like they are getting super picky.
