HELP! civil suit over accident

    The carriers insurance company will defend you, and the carrier, in court. When you are an employee or leased O/O you are acting as an agent of the carrier and the law views you and the carrier as one and the same.

    Having your own lawyer to assist in your personal defense is a good idea.

    I sure would want to know what's up with the whole deal... not being informed can be costly.

    Be on the safe side,contact a lawyer.Even if it was no fault,they always go after the driver!:biggrin_25525:Good Luck!!
