I saw that on The Weather channel. It sorta pricked my interest about Detroit. I don't think the city is all that bad, now the burbs? It really is.
There's not much left in Detroit itself. The last time I went into BetterMade, it surprised me the lack of traffic.
If you spend your time on the interstates, they seem to be all the same, none any worse than the other, as far as roadrage.
-
The one thing that bugs me the most about driving in Detroit after dark is that in several sections of the city people will not stop for a red light. I understand why they aren't stopping, but you really have to be careful and do a double take at the intersections. I almost got T boned the other morning.
-
Ya, several sections have always been no mans land after dark, but it's still just another big city, even with the decline.
All the years I was in and around Detroit, I don't recall anything that sticks out, other than the CBP at the bridge!!
Oh wait, there is something, and I guess you could call it roadrage to some extent. Drive up or down I75 south of the bridge, I can't begin to count the times when I heard Canada bashing on the radio, and almost to a tee, it was with an accent that wasn't from around there. -
Where's L.A?
-
Can't believe Cincy is on that list.

They are either are too stoned or they know a gang member will cap them, so they behave!
-
This list is too small. There are horrible, uncourteous, impatient drivers EVERYWHERE in America.
PharmPhailPartsReplacer Thanks this. -
Also were the Heck is Chicago. Last time I was in Chicago I learned 3 new Swear Words in 4 Differant Languages EACH as 4 cabbies were screaming at each other.
GuysLady, shantyshaker12 and JimDriv3r Thank this. -
I know what you mean. I got flipped off near Chicago on the stretch of Interstate 80 that crosses the Des Plaines River for going the posted construction zone speed limit of 45mph. Most of the trucks had common sense to obey the speed limit. I guess that people that drive cars in the midwest are exempt from following the posted speed limits, especially in construction zones (Illinois, Ohio, and Indiana especially. Where were the highway patrol then?).
