Simple, Get a job, save your money then buy your own truck with the money you saved.

try looking here for information regarding discharging of the bankruptcy. you may actually qualify for credit once again....

GREAT ADVICE from a wannabe.....if you didn't have a REAL answer, you should have said nothing......rather than insult the guy....and kick him when he's down.....!!! -
Wannabe, not hardly. I'm not kicking anyone, just stating the obvious. -
one should know to whom they are speaking to..
....parts placer has more miles backing up ,than most has going forward.....oh and did i mention he's a o/o
PharmPhailPartsReplacer Thanks this. -
"parts placer", was rude. the guy asked for input on getting a truck. a simple link to a website or no response at all would have been better. does one think the o/p NEVER considered saving his money....??
if one doesn't have advice to help, then QUIET would have been better.....than to "state the obvious" as he said..... -
Hogrider 337 taking over the note on "ANYTHING " today is as tough as getting financing if you have a bad financial situation.
Be leary if a deal pops up and sounds too good to be true , you could end up in worse shape than Katrina put you in.rocknroll nik Thanks this. -
Rude....not hardly, Since the original poster stated he has/had past financial problems the only way he should consider buying a truck is to reestablish himself credit wise and get a savings account built up. Any other way is setting their selves up for certain failure. IE: high interest rates, "Fleece" deals, ect. My first truck I bought I saved my money, put that money in a CD at my local bank, borrowed against that CD at 1% interest above what the bank was paying me interest on that CD. So I basically only paid 1 per cent interest on the truck loan and when the loan was paid off I still had the CD money plus the interest it earned. -
yeah, but he does have to check his situation for the discharge of his bankruptcy. this "might" be his saving grace if he can get that clear, to make way for credit approval. since he would have no other creditors.
taking over truck payments can also be a killer as well.....was the truck cared for...?? will he be buying a problem (or two?). would a bank "ok" the take over???
hopefully he does not get into a "hand shake" deal, and lose again. i do not believe he even said he was a previous o/o......
by the way, maybe you were NOT being rude, my bad. -
