"Idiots didn't hit the scene until the late 90's anyways" I think your Original Post proves different.
And yes I remember the way it use to be and as a NEWS FLASH there was as many IDIOTS on the roads back then as today in both 4 wheelers and 18 wheelers and tailgating was just as illegal.

Big bad man! Now get back to the CB and tell others how they are wrong too.

Well Condo, they only replied to what you typed, and what you typed is that you all (a convoy) ran a 4 wheeler off onto the shoulder, just because he/she/grandma/grandma/youngster was going too slow for you

Typical CB RAMBO
response to anything they do not like to hear .

That's where you all are speculating. There was over 100 trucks in front of me. I guess they were all idiots too.
Then you all try to publicly humiliate someone because they honked their horn 12 years ago or so. In one second you know their character and intelligence. Cmon, get a life.
This is exactly what's wrong with truckers. They pick each other apart because they have nothing better to do. I can watch any one of you and find mistakes in a few minutes. To think you are better than the next person.... is a joke. Find other ways to feel better about yourself. Like help someone instead of ridicule them.
Flatbed, you are the one hiding calling people names like a little kid.
Member of the month one month, idiot the next. Interesting! You all can keep your little clique that runs in here.
Happy Truckin' -
All I posted was that there " WERE IDIOTS" driving trucks in the GOOD OLD DAYS and that your POST proved it.
Where did I call anyone names and how am I hiding ?
As for acting like a child , might be time for you to read a few of your posts / replies on here. You all can keep your little clique that runs in here -
just my two cents..... If we're all runnin back and forth across I40, why not convoy? It would be a great way to kill the time.
Besides, all you guys that think your trucks have wings and can fly, usually pass me 3 times a day and only get 4 mpg the whole time, while I stay at 62-65, get there at the same time, am 10x safer, and spend half as much in fuel.IROCUBabe Thanks this. -
i dont mind running with one or two people--but a convoy???
cmon there are enough pileups on the road now--dont need any more of them when billy big rigger in front locks up his brakes cause he saw a deer -
A convoy is nice.. when it's for special olympics. Just the other day, i could see i was gonna have a hard time passing a truck, so what did i do? Backed out of it. I didn't want to tie up the hammer lane trying to get around him. Turns out he was jumping off at the next exit anyway.
I have ran a car off the road before, why? Cause he was trying to pass me on the right (impatient), and i was in the process of getting over. I wont jerk it over, i prefer to ease it over. I HATE it when people (cars and trucks) wont wait until i am completly over in my lane before passing me. I have almost been run off the road by another truck doing this. For the record: I stopped to make sure he was ok. He apoligized to me, and i to him. This could have been a bad thing, but it wasn't. To this day he hasn't done this again (he is now a friend of mine).
Tailgating: 3 warnings. Period. I blink my lights, get in the other lane (when possible) if not, i just get off the fuel or slow down unitl they get over. You wont belive how many times i have been told i was number 1.
A convoy is a nice thing to see, for the special olympics.IROCUBabe Thanks this. -
I have to keep reminding myself that forums are just everyones oppinions,so heres mine. I don't like running with others except for the occasional chance I get to run with a friend or friends, then we leave plenty of room for escape. I don't run with others because I don't like many that I see on the road, in a days time I might see a couple of drivers that I wouldn't mind running with, not that I'm better than anyone, I'm just particular.
oldedge Thanks this.
