well... Here in fontana, I picked up a passenger. KC asked me to take another driver with me since he has to recover a truck in oregon. Looks like a little extra $ for me.

Are they letting you seat him in the truck to drive?
Or do they just want you to transport him?

She has not said yet to where I am going she will probably let me know when she calls me on ~friday~. Too bad I wont be able to talk only listen I go in on thursday to have my tonsiles pulled. She wanted me to go on the 25th so I am guessing L.A. I would dig going so close but I want to speed though it as quickly as possible as so far they say I only need a refreasher course.

Wow that is new to me. Our teacher all last week and the trainers this week have all said the same thing. 28 days or 17000 miles. Whichever come first. But 35 wont kill me would just make me more confident.

Just wait, by the end of your orientation your class will be cut by 2/3. Actually out of your orientation class 1 guy will probably make the 6 month mark!
So did you do your wellness exam too? That was a lot of fun. Made my wife split her pants! It was hilarious. (for me not her) She's not fat just had the wrong pants on for the occasion. You don't get fat until after you pass the exam. Takes about 1 month.
Anyway good luck, those were the good ol days!

just want me to transort him. I'm gonna try to get him seated and try to run some of the local crap out of the stockton yard since we will have tons of time and he wabts to get a little more driving time before getting his own truck.

The bp cutoff is 170/?. We lost 2 more today because of high sugar levels in their urine. we are down to 29, started with 46. tomorrow the criminal backround checks come back, so we may lose some more. Work well test was really not difficult. Just lifting and walking with a crate full of 50 and 75 pounds. You do wear a heart monitor the whole test. One guy got up to 177 heart rate during the 75lb walk test, but he came down to 150 in a minute so no problem. If you get up high they check that it recovers within a minute. Mine never went over 132. The hardest part of the test for me, because I forgot about chromedome's advice, was the push part of the Pull/push test. I didn't use my legs the first try and only got the gauge up to 90. did it again the chromedome method and went well above 100. Instructors are great, pretty much everyone we've met around here have been nice and helpful. Just make sure if you come out here to really have your heart and mind into it. We have a few left in our class that we already know will not be getting a CDL because they are not putting forth the effort. It's not vacation, it's a job. Good luck to all starting in the next few weeks, it's a piece of cake if you truly want to be there.
