hey guys. heading off to school next week. one thing that has been worrying me is how the driving test works in missouri. i know you have to make an appointment with the highway patrol to take the test. do you have to provide your own vehicle? from the sheet they gave me when i got my permit, it sounds like i have to bring my own combination vehicle to get my license. this may be a stupid question, but where do i get a tractor trailer to test with? my recruiter (swift...i know.) didnt know and said the instructors at the school would know, but the school is in a different state. any help would be appreciated!

If you are going to school then they should provide the vehicle to test in. That is kind of the whole point of paying them to go to school.

every school i worked at, we provided the trucks......

talked to a different recruiter and she said they will provide a truck to test in.

Yes, Swift provides the truck. The school will send you back to missouri for your road portion of the training, and your instructor will teach you what you need to do for for Missouri test.
