KW salesman in Whitehorse told me $3000.00 for a good bull bar like the one pictured on the blue T800s. He said a moose vs new truck without a bull bar is looking at $40,000 in repairs. Ouch. 3k would be a wise investment.

WM, I am oh so jealous. Trucking for 14 years (12 OTR) and that is one thing I always wanted to do. In the late 90's and early 2000 I used to take stuff out to Seattle to Lynden's yard for them to take the load up to Alaska. Could never get the company allow me to take the load myself.

The pics are awesome as I'm sure the experience was. Thanks!

6 days driving up. 3 weeks of R&R in Ak. Then 6 days driving back. But I had plenty of time, so I just drove it all legal.

Native Dancer, here's what the Tok coop looks like now, all super'd up complete with barn. Btw, the boys at the Watson Lake coop said to say hi to you. I forget their names, and I didnt see Bobby, as he was off when I rolled thru.

Biscut, I hear ya man. Generaly speaking, most freight going to Ak goes on a barge since it's cheaper. It's tough to find a load for a reefer, worse yet a spread axle reefer. Most of the loads I find going up to Ak are flatbed.
