I'm starting w/ Millis 01/03/2011

    So after a ton of calling around, a ton of research, and countless hours (well spent) on this forum, I made my decision. I'm going w/ Millis and I'm going for the Jan. 3rd class. I really really wanted to go to Nov 15th class but as of now it is full. Do you guys know if people usually drop out at the last minute? Well I was told that if I sign up for the 3rd and if someone drops out there is a chance they can bump me up to Nov. Any comments, suggestions, input, advice are always welcome, as I'm trying to get as many perspectives and info as I can. BTW what an honor it is to be part of such an awesome forum :biggrin_2559:

    I just graduated from Trenton last week. There was suppose to be 6 of us but ended up with 4. I figure you are planning on going to Richfield, WI. You might want to check into other locations. You could make it to Trenton, OH in about 5 or so hours. Something to consider. The class starts up on Monday next week. Best of luck to you, keep us posted as many of us will be in where you are attending school and come to say Hi. The awesome part of Millis is that you can ask any driver a question and they will take the time to discuss it with you. No, your just a rookie and aren't worth my time.

    Thanks Ryeman, Yeah I've been working W/ Deanne, shes' great! She told me that all the locations are full for now the only thing open is until January of next year which bums me out but now that I gave them my $100 I know that at least I have a spot and I have something to look forward to. Hopefully something will happen and I'll be able to go sooner. I really can't wait to start, and I hope to be meeting you soon Ryeman!

    If you are close to the orientation site and aren't working, I would show up and see if someone is a "No-show". Usually, there are "No-shows". But that's just me, I kinda make my own rules......

    @Krooser, I think she said it was for the registration, but I know that Millis isn't the only one that does that. r

    @allow me, thanks for the tip, but I got a call yesterday, and I start training on Monday, someone dropped out from Ohio, so I'm starting a few weeks sooner than expected, for me the sooner the better. I can't wait!

    Yeah See u there Khaki! How are u getting there? I think I'm gonna do Greyhound to cincinatti and then take a cab to Millis. See u in class!

    Sweet, Bill will teach you a lot. The hotel is nice. About a 30 minute drive from the terminal. He will meet you in the lobby Monday morning. You can use the van to get back and forth instead of wasting your own gas. Expect a roommate, I got lucky and had someone I got along with. There is a microwave and fridge in the room. Bring some warm clothes and rain gear. I'm sure I will be throught there in a week or so. Good luck! & pay attention.

    i've been accepted for the jan 15 here in georgia but can't wait that long. hopefully someone cancels here right quick. i know there was cancellations for the ohio one that starts this monday
