Scania make conventinal trucks for Europe, Mercedes build Zetros, Unimog... and that's all Road conventional trucks in Europe.
Yeah, they make fat trucks, like German Titan, but you cant see them on highways. -
unfortunately scania discontinued t series in october 2005
last one from Södertälje is now in Bosnia
but spare parts are still available.....And if someone wants .He can still make a t-series and different wheelbases are available by request
I asked engineer from Scania .....is it possible that Laxa-special vehicle make one by special order .....He said that it is not possible.....
( Laxa is Company from Sweden it is owned by scania and last 40years they build special scania vehicles and special cabs... including crew cab il all versions flat cabs-for car transorters etc.....and low entry cab for waste collectors.....and Scania longline ......

yeah! not to heavy, but Columbia hood is lighter.
The really difficult stuff with scania T-serie - drop a tranny! this is 16 st full synchro tranny, bigger then 10st Eaton and twice heavier. like all EU trannies.... -
