Failed Road Test Again (2nd Time)

dont worry about the time, dont push it, get the needed tranning first,you cant go any futher until you can master this step. Put your effort and focus on the things that are causing you to fail, then go to the next step

 

Man if I was you and they gave me one more chance to practice and I climbed back into that truck..I would REFUSE to get my arse out of the driver's seat until I had it down pat. I'd probably make the 6 o'clock news..lol.. For what you are paying, they owe you that much.
Kinda reminds me of when I learned algebra and sat their til I got it..then what a great feeling that was..like riding a bicycle, you won't forget.

I am new, I passed my road test first time and won the safety award from my school.


That being said, I managed to roll a truck and end the life of my co-driver in the process after 3 months OTR and I got back out there driving ASAP, like the pilot who survives a plane crash.

So don't put too much emphasis on the parallel park.

Simple tip~Put your hand on the bottom of the steering wheel while backing. Move your hand whatever direction you want the trailer to move. It works.

 

So you only do the Parallel and the Straight back that's not bad at Central we had to do all 3 now one thing I want to say.

You said before that you would get to off before you realized you were in trouble. If you watch both mirrors one after the other back and forth when you start to see too much of the left side in your driver mirror move the steering wheel in that direction once it starts to become less start watching the right side as that gets bigger turn that way. I had the same problem I got so ####eyed in the lane I was frustrated.

 

I just failed my first ny state cdl roadtest last week.The parallel parking is a 15 pointer,you are allowed 50 points.How is the rest of your test?Try to get as many of the other points in your favor so if you had to you could fail the parallel park.If you are having trouble backing up straight then how is your offset right or left?How is your docking?It doesn't sound like school prepared you very well.They got me alittle here and a little there and totaled me out to 65 points .I felt like awefull.I thought I did prettygood.They got me for stuff like'' failure to sound horn before backing'' 10 points each.[not in the book by the way].Had me driving around mostly city ,cars everywhere.As far as backing goes all I can tell you is to watch the rear corner of that trailer like a hawk and make small corrections early ,avoid big steering inputs.Practice straight backing .try using the bottom of the steering wheel.Make sure your mirrors are clean and turn on the mirror heaters to get the fog out.Make sure you can see those corners.Take your time [the test has no time limit] .I'm taking my 2nd test Nov 10th .I will pass this time.You will pass also,keep at it.Let us know ,we're rooting for ya.

 

Hum i think i see the problem x 2 , one is backing and the other looming in the distance , hes worry if he fails and he will , for hes worry if dont pass nobody gonna hire me, ok, granted that is true, block that out your loan , i know its hard too do with 6100 presure on your brain, cause next will be sleepless night, ulcers and all snowball from there, and thats why your having problems backing up, i belive i try too seprate the two somewhow and just focus on the baking for now 6100 will come latter , you have all next year and if you do pass i be making double payments if could, but in the sad news , dosnt matter anyway , if your hired tommorrow you wont make any money for the next 3 months so your note is due ,so now you worry about that while in truck and the cycle starts over , ive been there done-that this on my student loan of 4500 and every year my state would take my tax check till it was paid off or close i got it down too 600 and just paid it off, hopes this help Everett.
