Good Charlotte NC Companies?

I would like to now of some good companies in NC also. Do not really care about being home every weekend but I will be new so i know I am gonna have to put my time in to get that.

 

Crosby Trucking has a terminal in Charlotte. Home most weekends Friday night or early Sat morning. Back out Sunday afternoon. Don't expect to get any sleep during the week or have a truly "LEGAL" week though. .36/mi dryvan, .41/mi reefer. Store runs to Marshalls/HomeGoods/TJMaxx pay extra but will seriously kick your axx, especially on hot days. You unload the trailer for those runs.

 

Try Anderson Transport in Concord.They just added 2 more trucks this week.
T2000 KW's that will haul butt.
Starting pay 34 cents per mile.Stop pay 15 per stop,all pallet loads.
Home every weekend.Outbound loads for West Marine.53 dry vans and reefers.
80.00 monthly cell phone allowance.

I do not work for them but have a buddy that does.

Small family owned company.

 

Where do they run?

 

try epes they say home weekends and i have heard all good things from them. they do a lot of northeast and dont go west of i35. I know they haul out of the dollar general dc somewhere around the greensboro area i see them down there pulling dollar general trailers

 

If you're brand new to trucking and would like to sample what's available locally let me suggest Diversified Select Services on Old Pineville Road. They have many accounts and most pay reasonably well - most are temp to perm positions too. I've worked off and on for these people since my arrival in the area back in the mid 90s. I use them when I'm between jobs or on layoff. This is a family run operation.

Two temp to perm positions I tried didn't work out; too much experience with too high expectations!
