Just wanted to say "hello". Im am new to trucking but knew what I was getting into based on my uncle driving for 17yrs and my stepdad drove for a few. I been with Stevens Transport since April.. Some say big mistake but i say, hey gotta do something to get in the door... Anyway, Im from Angola/Tunica, Louisiana. 32 yrs old. They say the first year is the hardest but I really dont find it that hard. Yeah there are some challenges but all in all, Im loving it and having fun with it... The only part I am nervous about is driving in the snow... lol Im a southern boy, born and raised in South Louisiana.. Worked in snow in basic, but never drove in it... If anyone has tips or suggestions for a new driver, feel free to give them to me.. Thanks...

    Welcome to the forum flex...
If you use the search function, you'll find some good threads that discuss winter driving. It's a whole different world, winter driving, but if you have common sense and don't get in a hurry, you should be OK.
