When I ran for Allens Towing and Heavy Haul, on Phillips Hwy in Jax,Fl, I had such a good time. It was during a strong housing boom and I was hauling a lot of Cat 330's and 345's and a lot of D7,D8,D9 across town and then off road way back in the woods to the dig sites. The off road was the funnest. I drove a Mack Superliner with a 20gear 8speed and that joker would get me just about anywhere I needed to go, even at 130,000 on 8 axles. BUT, when I got It stuck, man I was stuck. Yeah, always had something big enuff to get me out, and sometimes I didnt even need to unchain it to get me out. I loved doing that job. You would too.

so its look like you could haul these big things at daytime. in europe you only can run with things like that at nighttime.

 

In South Africa we are only allowed oversize or abnormal cargo in day light. This is a 60 year old law that is so out dated.Had something to do with viability.We break the law and run in to the city's at about 2h30am to 3h30am because it is impossible in the daytime traffic.
