WCP, you and I both know there's no excuse for that type of driving. It doesn't matter if it's reefer, flatbed, van, container, bullhaulers or someone dragging a merry-go-round. A professional driver will drive like a professional and that means safely and responsibly plus considerate of other drivers. A jerk will drive like a jerk no matter what he or she is hauling. And those that try and justify irresponsible driving with excuses of "gotta get the load there" or "gotta be on time" is simply a jerk behind the wheel. It wouldn't matter if they're driving a truck or a smart car.

    I dunno. I pull a reefer. don't go over 63. don't worry. It'll get there.
    Never been late yet.
I find a lot of newer drivers don't know how to schedule their time. They think "drive 11, break 13. Then they run out of hours and have to rush.
If I drive 11, break 10, drive 11... I don't seem to have to rush or worry.

You've driven enough to know that it's not just reefer drivers. You just had a couple reefers that happened to be the guilty party's recently and so the thread goes. It's alot of drivers these days. hell I had one driver just lock the brakes up and stop right in the middle of the ramp going into the scale in GA the other day and not another soul in sight in front of him! :biggrin_25510: Seems he was confused on which lane was the bypass lane and which one was the scale lane and couldn't follow the green arrow directing him to the bypass lane. :biggrin_25513: I mean seriously WTF is wrong with these idiots? :biggrin_2556:

Pulling a reefer today. Bill of lading states that destination is in Brampton On. I got there with 15min to spare. Then I was told wrong warehouse, I have to go to Cambridge. I arrived 1hr late and now I find out that I also have cross dock on board.

Yes I drove @65mph and never cut anyone off. However there was one idiot that cut me off and forced me into the no truck lane. He was hauling dry van.

I dont think its just reefers its everyone.
