"Unreasonable Usage" could mean just about anything. Millenicom spells it out in their TOS, "usage over 50 gigabytes will trigger an investigation." Probably to see if you are running some kind of server or webcam. That's why I keep checking user forums of all the major carriers to see how their users are being treated. For instance, I have a "grandfathered" Sprint card. I read over on AT&T's user's site 2 months ago that their grandfathered unlimited customers are finding out that their modems are being turned off when they hit 5 gigs, and when they call tech support, they are told that their account is suspended for the rest of the billing cycle because of high usage. Then they offer to turn the modem back on if they agree to switch to the capped plan.

Great. How long before Sprint pulls this? Not long!

in that link user Kevin_KC reports that Sprint did exactly the same thing to him. If what he's saying is true, my days at Sprint are numbered. Oh I'll wait and see if they pull the plug on me, but in the meantime, I'm weighing my options. I don't have any reason to doubt his story, especially when AT&T has done it to all their grandfathered users.

I bought the Vonage plan for my home which said unlimited, it WASN'T...Unlimited is based on "reasonable" use as you stated...

I have the virgin mobile 3g USB Modem which uses the Sprint 3G network.
It is $40 a month unlimited and so far unlimited has meant unlimited to me.
I use it to watch TV shows in the evening and download videos and music.

I'm a new owner of a smart phone (Samsung Fascinate). I'm still learning how to use it. I have a unlimited data plan for $29.99 a month through Verizion. A friend told me about a program that you can download and you can TETHER your laptop from your phone. Its called PDANET. http://www.junefabrics.com/android/ I plan i using this. It works at home with out problems, we will see once i hit the road.
