Ok, thnx,I took it another way, but,, all the same,, if a terminal can't get organized,, then how do they expect the drivers who ARE the backbone to be somewhat organized and get freight to the appointed places on time safely.
It seems to me that the personnel working in the terminals haven't a clue as to how trucking industry really works,, they seem to think they are the GODS of the trucking industry,,yet,,without the hardships,long hours, stressful days of drivers those idiots wouldn't even be working at McDonalds.

That has to be one of the dumbest comments I've seen on this site. Everyone has the right to complain! You can't say someone is not cut out for a job because they complain. I've known some very PROFESSIONAL drivers in my life who know the ins and outs of the job and can drive circles around a lot of people who have complained about the dumb ##### in this career. As the other poster said, there is absolutely no excuse for anyone in a company to misplace/shred important job needed documentation. It takes all kinds of people to make this world go around and if someone wants to "complain" get on the forum and vent a little then who are we to say he/she is not cut out? At least he wasn't crying because he misses being home and he hates the little space he has in a truck. He is simply venting about some irritations of the job.....camels76 Thanks this.

As a Swift driver I think that's absurdly disorganized and inept of the office staff.

Yea, so far after 37 phone calls,(not to mention the ones no-one was answering), sending my info to 9 people in the same office separately,they finally got it straightened out as they tell me,, still waiting to know for sure.
This isn't my 1st rodeo with people like this,,so, I kind of have an advantage as to how to maneuver around such idiotic people.
Was apologized to by the one that shredded my info and was asked why I sent so many faxes and e-mails to various people,,I simply stated,,I was told to by each person to do so,,lol,, even after clearly stating that I had just sent info to "so and so" just a few feet away,,lol.Texas-Nana Thanks this. -
That's not the first complaint I've heard about Greer.

Oh.I know that all the terminals are NOT like Greer,,I'm not going to let it stop me .
I know I see alot of bad things said about Swift in general,,but,, hey,It's all in what you make it.
I heard ALOT of horror stories about the Swift Academy before I went there,,man were they mistaken,,I had the time of my life there.
I'll just get going,, if things still are disorganized at the Greer terminal at a later date,,I will simply change terminals(and NOT my company).
And I'm hoping to make one of Swifts safe drivers,,so that eventually with others doing the same,, WE can change the outlook of others pertaining to Swift drivers.(the terminal personnel,,well, that's a different story all together,,lol)o0DaGal0o Thanks this. -
