    Hey all,
Closing in on the last 2 days of RTDC for Roehl Transport here in Marshfield.
Really like the Woodfield Inn where they put us up. There is a good Food store next door, 3 coffee places nearby,Walmart,Target, and frozen custard at Culvers! For those living low like me, Reman noodles in the room, make sandwhichs for lunch. Pretty happenin company too. good luck to you all just relax , you can do it.

Thanks for the update Steve. Getting anxious here as I will be departing for Marshfield a week from Sunday. Cant wait to get there and get started but really nervous. Good to hear that the Woodfield is a decent place.

We have 6 in our class. When we drive on the range or road we split into 2 groups 3 in each cab ad the instructor.
Our route to and from Woodfield Inn to Roehl(29th and rt13) is Central to left on Veterans Blvd(rt13) to 29th turn rt. And the same way back.
You can see shifting videos on you tube showing double clutching the 10 speed.
Our class has been friendly and supportive of each other so that helps.
There is an Applebees up central a block, and McDonalds and BK the other way. Family Restaurant down by the Movie Theatre has a good cheap breakfast. Quick trip gas plaza by the tracks on Central has all kinds of hot dogs and food for lunch.

Thanks Steve, like you I willl be eating as cheap as I can in my room. Six sounds like a great class size. Worked out well for splitting up. Did you start with 6 or did you lose someone along the way?

There are refrig. and microwaves in room and with the walking distance stores its easy to buy cheap food. A lot of guys arrive here on their last legs.

We test today, still have 6 that we started with and they said we should have no trouble passing. I';ll post the results. Many classes have dropouts or washouts. I,m sure its the same with employees too.The class ahead had 2 out of 6 left for different reasons.

I had Joe R. in my truck and Jason and Joe for classroom.
They gave us mileage money for our trip and a hotel voucher for home trip.
Very relieved we are that we all passed.
Good luck to all you guys and gals heading to Marshfield.:biggrin_25525:
