How you write matters

It doesn't really matter to me if someones posts are not written perfectly. Its what they have to say that's important to me. JMO

 

Darlin you have to understand that nobody is perfect. True there are people who know spelling and punctuation, however, there are others that were not as fortunate as you, I, or others to get a higher education. Fortunately, even though their spelling might be poor and their punctuation not correct, they still come on here and give their advice the best way they can. The simple thing to do is, if you do not like the way they spell then do not read their post. There are plenty other posts on here that you can read that may have the spelling and punctuation that you want. In addition, you should not point people's spelling and punctuation out when you yourself made mistakes, and I am not meaning the obvious ones you did to try and prove a point. shadow lurker, your kidding right. Where's you're manors? Not everyone remembers there spelling. Their are times when we forget. Remember, some folks are not all they're in the head........Okay, I'm just kiddin!!...LOL. I usually error when typing from my phone. And it's all one big paragraph since the phone has its limitations. Dang tiepoz.

Amen to that! Do not judge others when you, yourself are not perfect. It also comes down to being respectful. The people that you speak of that do not know how to spell or punctuate might err but they are at least respectful to the other posters on the forum. This is something that so far you have lacked. I would much rather try and decipher their posts and respect them for at least giving me and others the knowledge that I do not have then berate them because they erred on their spelling....did your mama not raise you better than that?

 

I'm with the others on this. It's dont matter to me if a post is perfect as far as spelling, grammar and punctuation because well, I would be one of the guilty ones. What matters to me is that I get the point when someone writes something. Or....that I get the point across when I am writing something. Sometimes some people (me) have a hard time writing what is in their head and it dont always come out as how they intended it to be or the words dont sound like they did when you was thinking it. You know, with all the voices up there and other little noises......

With spell check it might be easy for some to correct errors in that area but for others (me again) to come on and make a post that is grammatically and punctually correct it just isn't gonna happen.

 

Spell checker is your friend...
