There was a study done some where , at some university that proved that if you had the first and last letter of all words correct in a story or paragraph or two, the other letters could be in incorrect order, jumbled up so to speak . The findings were that you could read and understand the intent of the article or story with little out much trouble. There have been some emails that have gone round the world that showed examples of it.

I saw that and had to cut and paste it in this thread. I try to post so that folks can understand what I mean, but I'm no scholar. Lots of times, I'll go back and read something I posted the next day and think, "Wow. What was I thinking about when I typed this crap??":biggrin_2559:

Here is the long and short of it bro,

I doubt anyone really CARES if you read their post or not, unless they are neurotic (like me :biggrin_25526:) but if you dont read because of minor spelling or grammar errors, you are missing out on alot of good information, there are several vets out there, that type "poorly" by some peoples standards, but if you look past that, you will find a plethora of valuable information. I am a grammar nazi and point out flaws, but normally only when someone else starts it, I pick on the person who makes fun of those people.

There is a good example in the more recent posts of this, we all had quite a scare about one of our members and that particular member, has some noticable spelling issues sometimes, and frankly, look past them, its a wealth of information you are skipping if you dont.

Other reasons are medical, or simply put: people that did not grow up typing (like my mother) are flustered by it and they quickly stop trying to correct it all, and just type, knowing those that want to read it, will look past, while others, well, they dont care if they read it. :)

    Drive safe.
