I did some searching on here and at the APP store for android phones. I Just picked up a new smart phone and i wanted to see if any one has a mobile tracking app? Something with a google map? I will be hitting the road near turkey day when i turn out from school and my wife is having a hard time dealing with me being gone. So I got to thinking, is there some way to track my routes? There are some apps for free and i have played with them and they either don't lock in on me (GPS) or its a bogus program. Does anyone use a payed app that works good? Any other Ideas?
Thanks

Check out Google Latitude. It won't show your route, but it will show your location.

I understand the concern your wife has for you, but why would you want her to know where you were 24/7? Sounds like she is already having trust issues. If thats the case then you may have just made an investment (the money for school) in a divorce. Its sad but true, this industry is high in divorce rate. The men and women of the home life get lonely. Just a fact of the trucking life.

Sprint has a GPS app for 5 bucks a month. If the phone is turned on you can locate it....up to five phones per plan. Tried it out yesterday and didn't like it. Had a free 15 day trial and I canceled the same day.
I personally thought it would be cool to see where my kid is etc...when I'm on the road. -
U Drove... give it a look
