I have been using DDL for years, and it works great. I like the fact that I can track all of the stuff I need.

I was able to use the printing function at a former company. I did have to have the DDL people add a bar code to the form. You might want to check the list of print modules they have and see if they have one that is the same as what you use, then maybe you can get the bar codes and what not added to it.

The company I am at now uses a form that DDL can not make a print module for. So I still run DDL and transcribe the log from the computer to the paper log. Have never had any problems with this .

One of these companys lets you upload a scaned logbook image of your choosing. Doing this you will get a company code or pin # so you can go to there website from within the full/registered version of the program you installed. Follow a couple of simple steps to have your prefered log format into that program for use.

DDL (DriversDailyLog) is a one-time $95 fee; which INCLUDES any updates because of a change in DOT regulations or "program enhancements". And if email support can't fix (operator) errors, oftentimes Nick (DDL creator) will offer his phone number for phone support.

Limited to 3 computers. Now on my third laptop and if I buy another one, they require it to be purchased again.

Are you sure? From what I see, they offer unlimited "License" due to hardware upgrades or computer replacement. "3 computer" limit was for 3 PCs at one time; laptop and up-to two desktops owned by driver.

Positive. Email from them stating it.

If I have to buy it again might ad well look at something else.

    Seems wrong to me.

Here is the line from their email

New activation history. 3 of 3 allowed per DDL license purchase

I buy software all of the time for taxes and other uses. I am never limited to the number of laptops and others that I use the software on. I have loaded it on each computer as I phase out the older unit.

    They want more money.
