I run for the most part legal but people have different opinions when it comes to working hard, I work till im tired and sleep when I need it, I just wish people would realize that the goverment doesnt care about safety, its all about revenue. ok end of rant

BECAUSE YOU ARE MAKING MONEY ON PUBLIC ROADS!!!!! RAN BY THE GOVERNMENT!!!

Gosh...some of these "outlaws" will never learn that WE DO NOT OWN THE ROADS!!!!

I know I am lucky to have a job and I am thankful for doing something I love.

And if you wanna call me a slacker because I make an HONEST LIVING not lieing....than so be it. It shows your lack of judgment and you have zero respect from me.

 

Making a living legally may be your idea of an honest living. But that's just you.

And the roads are paid for by not only the money I pay them but also the revenue I help create. It's a privilege and a right to drive on those roads. Because I pay to drive on those roads.

And yes, as long as we pay for the roads, then by god we own them. That doesn't give us the right to run people off our roads, we still have to be safe. And I do.

And I do it without the government in my head, telling me what's right or wrong, 24/7.

 

Funny, since our taxes pay for them but we can never claim ownership of even the smallest part of them. I still wonder who or what this "public" is. I've never seen it. I'm certainly not part of it according to anyone who's ever made reference to it.

No. That is not just me. That is the majority of people. EVERYONE HAS RULES ON THE ROAD.

But since you are such an anarchist, you feel it is your right to run stop signs? It is your right to run 90 in a 70? It is your right to drive 20 hours a day when you are only allowed 11 before you have to take a break?

Yes, you pay taxes. But so does everyone else who feel that they should have a safe road.

This old "it will never happen to me" mentality has to go....

 

Apply that to the majority of vehicles on the road and watch them laugh at you or tell you to get bent. All this moral superiority and nitpicking over rules doesn't change the fact that upwards of 70% of accidents involving a large truck are caused by some idiot in a four wheeler. One that does think it's his right to do 90 in a 70 20 hours a day or more while texting away, doing her nails, yelling at the kids, or whatever. More rules against truck drivers will do nothing to solve this problem.

I pay taxes and I feel I should have a safe road. But I don't get to have one. It's not the trucks out trying to get me killed every day, I can tell you that.
