Drivers,
A SUV broke the security barrier and raced thru the BASF plant in Clute, Texas today. Reported speeds exceeded 100 mph. The incident ended when the SUV crashed into a mty tank ( ISO ) container hooked to a CBSL truck likely there to load.
The SUV driver was heard shouting " we're all gonna die ". The SUV driver was taken to the hospital with severe injuries as a result of the crash.
SO?
Well what this means to all of us whom haul chemicals...... this story will spread like wildfire in the chemical community and from this we can expect much tighter security and more barriers and what that means is more waiting time.

I say we pass a law requiring yet another badge--the TWIX badge. It'll require another background check and an additional fee of $250, but as an added bonus, it's a tasty snack too. Yessiree... security drenched in a chocolate coating over rich caramel and crunchy cookies.
Yep, they're expensive, but won't the additional security they bring be worth it?
