I have family members living in Ohio. They are your typical Americans. They dont hate anyone or talk bad about anybody.
However I have been in the USA a lot with my trucks. I would say 95% of Americans have nothing bad to say about Canadians. Having said that there are those few that are really bad. I had guys at toll booths in Buffalo complaining about taking away American jobs. One certain indevidual I came across a few times and each time he bad mouthed me. I waited for months to meet up with him again. Thats when I paid my toll in pennies, few nickles and dimes. Boy was he pissed when he had to count.
I had drivers bad mouth me on the CB many times.. F****** Canadian this, F****** Canadian that. However I had French Canadian drivers give me more lip than any American driver.
Over all its pretty safe driving in the USA. I keep saying that the people in the USA and Canada are the same, we all came from the British Colony. Unless you are a Native Canadian or American we all are foreigners.

Why even worry about who thinks what about you ? I'm sure your own friends, neighbours, heck, even your own family thinks different things about you - does it prevent you from going about your day ?
Just do your job safely, respect others and mind your own business and I'm sure it will work out beautifully.

Only once, it was in Sudbury on a Saturday night haha.

I live in Canada and don't understand that either. I can't read French so why do we need it on everything? I spend more time driving in the US then I do in Canada and that's fine with me. I like it down there.

The numbers in Quebec are the same as anywhere else. Sud is south. Nord is north. Ouest is west. Est is east. Now you can traverse all of La Belle Province. haha

No, because most, if not all Queerbec DOT speak english.

Also, I am of the opinion, that I can make money in my own country. Therefore I will NOT run into the U.S. Had a FAST card once, let it expire and haven't been back since. -
I've never once had anyone badmouth me for being canadian, and I drive 95% of my miles on US highways. Im thinking most people look at Saskatoon on the door of my truck and just figure its somewhere in Oklahoma since Saskatchewan plates look very similar to Oklahoma's green lettered plates lol.

I have been all over the states and have had no problems with American drivers or even Americans in general for that matter(Keep an eye open though if you head into any urban centres of disrepute!).
I enjoy my time down there. I take a bicycle and see the sights when stopped.
Americans are ok in my book. -
I had the DOT at Echo in UT tell me Frenchies came in and made I no speak English and he let them go out of pure frustration. Free Pass! Could I do that in Quebec? No!!!!!

Saw the opposite in Kentuckey , Scale master told 2 Quebecers they were going to sit until they learnt ENGLISH or he LEARNT french , and under his breath utters ( and that aint happening )
