Will do....
Well, got a preplan for pick up in Orlando tomorrow morning and deliver in GA in the afternoon. However, I don't have enough hours, so I called and told them, and found out that its got a window until Tuesday. So, I'm gonna get a full day in Florida. Gonna go pick up in the morning then sit until Tuesday morning. Works out well.

Nope. We'll have a flatbedder dump his tarps and chains, without those items, we prolly weigh on par with a van-trainers' condo.

School was so good.... I highly recommend this school to ANYBODY... I enjoyed the school so much I often contact my instructors... My road trainers and road experienced was a entirely different animal... I simply could not deal with dirty truck stops..... I achieved a local driving job to my surprise... RDTC was the only reason I got the job... My skills were second to NONE!!!! They teach as good as it gets... Lots of hands on time and friendly genuine good will of the instructors... I can't say enough about the school but when you go out on the road be prepared for living hell.... Away from home... Dirty restrooms and attitude from the road trainers as you are their ##### for the extended stay... First 2 24 hour periods go smooth but after that you get to see the real side of the trainers... They must get sick of talking to the students you know... Long periods of silence was good for me... I am so fortunate I scored a local gig... Good luck (skill) to you and remember.... your just a # in the grand scheme of things... I'm a Psychology major and I sized up the trainer situation rite away.... They are burnt out... Genuine but burnt out... Be prepared to just keep it about the job and you'll get threw it... WARNING... Restroom life is worse than a farm free stall barn and the cows are cleaner than some of the drivers I have seen.... It's simply mind blowing... I seen it and now am satisfied I could do it if I had to but I have been blessed and now drive the same truck but locally....Remember.. your getting skills out there not a friend... I had to keep reminding myself of that every time harsh words came my way... I have been told by my new company's fleet manager I'm one of the best drivers he has in the fleet and all I did was show him my skills learned from RDTC and my road rash.... RDTC is second to absolutely NONE!!!! Enjoy and ask all the questions over and over and you to will be the best too... Be as good as you can ....

Alright, after a very long intermission, I guess I could update this a bit.
Still pullin strong as ever. Since my last post, its all gone very well for me besides one tidbit. Had my home time jacked with last time I was home. The decided to send me home on day 10, which effectively cut my home time to 2 days, I was not happy about that whatsoever.
Otherwise, currently, I'm working through a month out, got about 12 days left in that. So far has been quite the trip.
MN-TX-GA-WI-MA-MD-NC-TN
The most recent loads were fun to say the least. The load from WI to MA was tight on hours so I kicked into overnight running to make that one work with the hours I had. Got to MA with that load and got my first taste of bad winter weather: wind, freezing rain, sleet, and snow. For being my first time in those conditions I was definitely on edge the whole time, but I also knew that was just first time jitters. Made it through just fine without any issues at all and delivered.
Then the load from MA to MD was quite new to me. In one night I traveled through 7 states...yes I said 7. I went from MA-RI-CT-NY-NJ-DE-MD. Thankfully I was already on the overnights, so it all worked out well with traffic. You could definitely tell tho that all the trucks out there made a point of being there at night. Tons of trucks.
Otherwise, its keeping me on my toes. They are definitely working my ### off right now. Everyday since my first 7 days out they are making sure that I'm working every minute that I have available. Works for me.... -
Thanks wiseguy....which fleet are you in? I'm going refrigerated.
