As soon as I can get in touch with my recruiter and get some questions answered, I will make a decision on going to CRST. I like that the commitment is only 8 months. I feel like when getting your foot in the door, you've got to take the less of the evils and starter companies are probably all pretty much the same.

OK, so how hard is it to FIND AND KEEP a Co-Driver in south central Kentucky? Is it really that bad? I plan on hitting school in Jan.

Ok so I got in touch with my recruiter and I'm headed to Dallas for my training with CSRT on November 22. I searched & searched for the right place for me and after talking to recruiters at PAM, CR England, Central Refrigerated, and Stevens - I feel like CSRT is the best fit for me. I am really excited to get going with my career. Good luck to the rest of you guys...

Good Luck Jasper. I finished my 28 days.It was ok. My trainer was not a very good driver. He made poor decisions, was very bad in docking, he would follow his GPS from start to finish. He ralrely read a map or followed dispatch directions.
I actually performed better than he did. I have been off 10 days. My dispatcher is an idiot. Im trying to find a new co driver AND get a new dispatcher.

Get used to half wits. Teamed with a guy who had been with them for a year. He couldnt hit a dock straight if his life depended on it. Our first run to Jersey he smashed the right side of Columbia parked next to us. The sad part is he was one of the normal people.

Well after a few nights of thinking about CRST, I decided to go with CR England instead. Just didn't want to do team driving if I have another option to run company solo.

Crst is only a training company. It is not wise to stay with them any longer than you have to. We stayed with them through our training program, then once our contract was over, we left. Who can live off of .22 a mile, no one in there right mind can. Be carefull and be safe out there.....Bottom line do your training and move on............

DO NOT believe everything your recruiter says. They will tell you anything to get you with the company. Take bits and pieces and if it sounds to good to be true then it probably is

Finding one shouldn't be to hard...keeping one is up to you

Sorry you had a bad trainer. I don't know why they keep people like that training. It does no one any good. If you don't get a new dispatcher soon go above their head to the ops manager they should be able to help you out

I for one am far from a half wit. And I am pretty normal so I have been told. Do not judge everyone with a biased opinion about one person
