Isnt that amazing...well at least I got a quote finally. I told them my limit was $4-500 MAX, since I did want a bit more than just some basic letters...
Nice to see they listened.

Making me think that one way or another, I need to get the equipment to do this. That is obscene!
-
Handarko PM me your email and I'll send you my email show me your logo or whatever it is. I used to do this stuff for a living. I still have some of the cleaning stuff we used to get rid of residue. Remember one thing vinyl after a while will leave a shadow on a paint job because the paint around the letters fades. 3/4 inch stripes aren't bad to do but if not done right can be ruined very easily. If you can get the lettering I can do it for you.

When I contacted the $600+ quote people and told them it was a bit spendy for me, I had expected a return email/call with an alternative....nope. Zip.
-
Well we have come back full circle here. I am back to the original HIGH priced guy. The only one that actually followed up. The last 2 I was working with in IL, dropped off the face of the earth. I bet once the snow flies, these people will come looking for me.
-
I don't see whats so hard about this. If the price you have been quoted is too high for your budget... guess what? Pony up the money or get less work done. This isnt rocket science or priceline.com for stickers. Ive done 2 trucks in the time you started this thread. I called sign a rama on my way home with the trucks and the next day they removed the old stickers and installed new ones.
-
Well I'm happy for you that you got what you wanted done.
Sign-A-Rama (2 different locations) didnt return my calls.
I was updating this thread for anyone that was curious.
I'm not looking for advice anymore...
-
I don't think anybody returns calls these days..
you'll probably have to stop by. -
Hey JD,just checking to see if you got this job done.....
-
thanks man...I appreciate the bump here...
NO! - it is still not done. But there has been some progress. Thanksgiving week was a loss - no one works it seems.
I called a place I was recommended to and the guy wouldnt talk to me before I dropped at LEAST $100 on the table. Ok, I get that but the way it was presented to me pi$$ed me off.
The original guy DID follow up with me and asked if I could wait until this week. He offered to sit down with me - design up what I wanted and then we would make an appt to have it done. Told me it will take most of a day if not more. Since it's a bit of a drive, that presents a challenge.
I hope to have this done within 2 weeks at this point.
